Computer repair FAQs
My computer is really slow - can you fix that?
Almost always, yes. Slow computers are our most common job. Usually it's an old mechanical hard drive, too little RAM, malware, or years of accumulated software. A $200-ish SSD upgrade often makes an old PC feel faster than new.
Do you repair Macs as well as Windows PCs?
Yes - we repair MacBook, iMac and Mac mini alongside Windows desktops and laptops of all brands: Dell, HP, Lenovo, ASUS, Acer, MSI and custom builds.
Can you recover files from a dead computer?
In most cases, yes. If the drive itself has failed we can attempt data recovery in-house, and for serious mechanical failures we partner with a specialist lab. We'll always give you a realistic assessment first.
Is it worth repairing an old computer?
We'll tell you honestly. As a rough guide, if the repair costs more than half the price of an equivalent replacement, we'll say so - and we can often upgrade what you have for far less than buying new.
